RETURNS
Eligible returns must be received within 14 days of the original purchase date or customer forfeits refund or store credit.

Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving an item to be eligible for refund or store credit if item is damaged, incorrect, or missing so we can replace it with in stock inventory. Please read full terms below.

ALL JEWELRY IS FINAL SALE. No refunds or returns for wrong size or fitting issues on JEWELRY or because you decided you didn't like it. I always list sizing & multiple photos & live sale jewelry is clearly shown in real time. If you have a question about an item, please send an inquiry before purchasing.

If your jewelry order arrives damaged upon arrival, you must contact TTR within 24 hours of receiving item so I can file a claim with shipping carrier or see if we can replace the item. Please send us a chat box message so we can issue you a return label. It takes up to 30 days before USPS allows a claim to be filed. Upon filing a claim, it takes up to another 30 days for them to pay the claim. I have zero control of shipping carriers, their shipping, or their timeline. I always take care of my customers.

All CLOTHING items are available for returns if contacted within 14 days of product delivery and returned NEW WITH TAGS. You may exchange for different sizing if the sizing is available. If your size is not available, TTR will issue a refund. Item must be returned in the same condition it was sent. This means no new signs of wear or damage. Clothing is not eligible for returns after any wearing or the removal of its tags. It is up to the discretion of TTR to say if items are or are not eligible for refund.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for purchasing return shipping label unless otherwise discussed with TTR. To begin issuing a return, please do so through the shop inbox on my website with your order number, full name, and issue.

We source our Native American-made jewelry directly from Indigenous artists and trusted resellers. When a piece is Native-made, we do our best to clearly label and represent it as such.
In addition to our Native American collection, we also carry artisan-made pieces from New Mexico, as well as a carefully curated selection of imported jewelry from countries such as Italy, India, Australia, Tibet, & more. These items will always be labeled as imported or non-Native made.
We strive for full transparency during all product listings and live sales & take pride in being always transparent to our customers to build confidence & trust. If you ever have a question about the origin of a piece, we welcome you to ask for double clarification before purchasing.

At The Turquoise Reata, we take pride in offering high-quality turquoise jewelry. To ensure transparency and trust with our customers, we provide the following information regarding the sourcing and classification of our turquoise:
1. Our Turquoise Sourcing:
• We source turquoise from a variety of locations around the world, including the United States, Mexico, China, Kazakhstan, Egypt and other regions. Unless otherwise stated, we do not guarantee the specific mine or country of origin for each piece.
2. Types of Turquoise We Offer
Our collections may include:
• Natural Turquoise – Mined turquoise that has not been treated beyond basic cutting and polishing.
• Stabilized Turquoise – Genuine turquoise that has been enhanced with a clear resin to improve durability.
• Composite/Reconstituted Turquoise – Turquoise fragments that have been bonded together with resin for a uniform look.
3. Ethical and Transparent Practices
• We do not claim our turquoise is Native American-made unless it is verified and created by a recognized Native American artisan.
• We do not use tribal names such as “Navajo Turquoise” or “Navajo Pearls” unless the product is directly associated with an artisan from that tribe.
• We ensure that all descriptions accurately reflect the turquoise’s characteristics to the best of our knowledge.

We highly recommend adding Route Package Protection at checkout to safeguard your order against loss, theft, or damage in transit. Route provides quick and easy claims processing to ensure you’re protected if something goes wrong after your order leaves our hands.
If you choose to opt out of Route Package Protection, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your package once it has been handed over to the carrier. The Turquoise Reata is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages if protection is declined. This includes but is not limited to delays, missing items, and theft after delivery.
We do not offer replacements or refunds on orders without Route Protection once tracking shows the item was shipped or delivered.

TTR ships typically five days a week. If we are traveling, there will usually be a banner on the home page with details on when you can expect your package to ship. Processing & shipping will be completed at the latest within 14 days at the absolutely latest

If your address needs updated, please wait until it's been updated before paying your invoice to avoid it being shipped incorrectly. If you wait until after you've paid, I may not see your email in time to update it before your order ships.

MISSING PACKAGES & CLAIMS

If your package is missing or has not arrived after being marked delivered, please notify us immediately & then contact your local PO to see if they can locate it for you.

We are forced to follow the procedures set by our carriers for all lost & delayed package claims. Refunds or replacements will not be issued until the claims process has been absolutely completed, which cannot be started before 30 days after shipment. During this period, we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and provide updates as necessary.

I will always take care of my customers, but I cannot issue you a refund or replacement if the case is still open & there is a possibility of your package surfacing or being delivered or if you DID NOT USE ROUTE PROTECTION.

Without the proper care, your stones can become discolored & even potentially damaged. Turquoise measures 5 to 6 on the Mohs hardness scale. It is relatively fragile, porous, & susceptible to heat and chemical damage. Due to this stone’s properties, you should protect it from heat, chemicals, & shocks.

Avoid getting your jewelry wet, exposing to perfumes, dish soap, hot water, soap, lotion, sunscreen, coffee, tea, soaking in water, oils, or any oil-based substance.

Clean your jewelry with a clean soft cotton cloth, free of cleaning agents. It is safe to clean sterling & copper using an anti-tarnish polishing cloth, avoiding contact with the stone. Many collectors will want to keep the natural patina & polishing can devalue a piece,but that’s up to you!

REPAIRS

TTR is not responsible for any items damages on ANY PRODUCTS after wearing. If your product becomes damaged, I can direct you to where your items can be repaired safely. I do not do repairs on jewelry unless it’s a Lujan Silver piece. Please take care of your jewelry like you would fine diamonds. There are professionals who repair Native American items, I can help you get in contact with them to fix your piece. I do not do repairs & I do not offer any type of warranty on items purchased. I have no control over repairs as it is a third party I am connecting you with. You can always take items to your local mall to a jewelry repair shop, local jewelry store, or a pawn shop often has in house silver smiths. Most repairs take several weeks. I am not responsible for items lost during repairs/shipping.
