CUSTOMER SERVICE & CONTACT
Our customers are our top priority. To provide the fastest and most efficient service, our preferred and primary method of contact is the Shopify Inbox, accessed through the “Chat” box on the home page of www.theturquoisereata.com.
-Shopify Inbox is monitored and prioritized during normal business hours
-Email inquiries may be sent to theturquoisereata@gmail.com, but chat messages are always checked first
-The shop phone is not regularly monitored
-We do not monitor or respond to any social media DMs

INVOICING & LIVE SALE POLICIES
To ensure fairness, efficiency, and a smooth experience for all customers, The Turquoise Reata strictly enforces the following invoicing policies:
-Invoices are issued immediately after each live sale, unless otherwise stated during the live event.
-All invoices are due upon receipt and must be paid within 24 hours at the latest.
-During special promotions or announced sales, invoices must be paid no later than 8:00 a.m. the following day, unless otherwise specified.
CLAIMS & PAYMENT ENFORCEMENT
-Failure to pay an invoice within the required timeframe will result in a bag pull, meaning the customer forfeits all claimed items.
-Once forfeited, items become available for purchase by other customers.
-There are no put-backs, swaps, or changes of mind during live sales.
-If you claim an item, you are committing to purchase it.
PUT-BACK FEES
-Customers who refuse to purchase claimed items or request removal from an invoice will be assessed a 10% put-back fee.
-This fee applies regardless of reason and is intended to protect the integrity of live sales and inventory management.
ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS
-Repeated issues with: Late or missed payments, Invoice alterations, Claim bag manipulation may result in a temporary or permanent ban from purchasing with The Turquoise Reata.
-All account restrictions are applied at the sole discretion of Courtney, owner of The Turquoise Reata, to maintain fairness and respect for both the business and our customer community.
By participating in our live sales, you acknowledge and agree to these invoicing policies.
RETURNS
-Eligible returns must be received within 14 days of the original purchase date
-Returns received after 14 days will not be eligible for a refund or store credit
-Customers must contact us within 24 hours of delivery for damaged, incorrect, or missing items
JEWELRY (FINAL SALE)
-ALL JEWELRY IS FINAL SALE
-No refunds or returns for: Incorrect sizing, Fit issues, Personal preference changes
-Sizing details, multiple photos, and live sale visuals are always provided
-Please ask questions before purchasing
Damaged Jewelry Upon Arrival
-Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
-Contact us via Shopify Inbox to receive a pre-paid return label & ship back to us in the original packaging
-USPS claims:
-We are unable to file claims with USPS until 30 days after shipment
-Claim processing with USPS may take an additional 30 days
-We have no control over shipping carriers or timelines, but we always take care of our customers
CLOTHING
-Clothing may be returned if: Contacted within 14 days of delivery & Returned new with tags
-Size exchanges are allowed if inventory is available
-If sizing is unavailable, a refund will be issued
-Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, and free of damage
-Items worn or missing tags are not eligible for return
-Return eligibility is determined at the discretion of TTR
RETURN SHIPPING
-Shipping charges are non-refundable
-Customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise discussed
-To initiate a return, contact us via Shopify Inbox (chatbox on the homepage) with:
-Order number, Full name, Reason for return
-TTR reserves the right to deny returns on damaged merchandise.
AUTHENTICITY & ARTISAN DISCLAIMER
At The Turquoise Reata, we proudly support Native American artisans and honor their craftsmanship with the respect it deserves.
-Native American-made pieces are sourced directly from Indigenous artists or trusted resellers
-Native-made items are clearly labeled whenever applicable
-We also carry: Artisan-made jewelry within the USA & Imported jewelry from Italy, India, Australia, Tibet, and other regions
-Imported and non-Native-made items are always clearly labeled.
-We strive for full transparency in all listings and live sales. If you have questions about an item’s origin, we encourage you to ask before purchasing.
-While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, unintentional errors may occur. By shopping with us, you agree to contact us directly so concerns can be resolved promptly.
-We do not condone or support the misrepresentation of Native American jewelry in any form.
TURQUOISE STONE AUTHENTICITY POLICY
TURQUOISE SOURCING
-Turquoise is sourced globally, including: United States, Mexico, China, Kazakhstan, Egypt, & more
-Unless otherwise stated, we do not guarantee mine-specific or country-of-origin details
TYPES OF TURQUOISE OFFERED
Our collections may include:
-Natural Turquoise – Untreated turquoise beyond cutting and polishing
-Stabilized Turquoise – Enhanced with clear resin for durability
-Composite/Reconstituted Turquoise – Bonded turquoise fragments
-Block Turquoise - Turquoise stones are turned into a powder, the powder is then mixed with plastics and resins and compressed. Then they are molded and dried. When dry, the mass is cut into blocks, the cabochons are then cut from this block.
ETHICAL PRACTICES
-We do not claim Native American-made unless verified
-We do not use tribal names unless directly tied to an artisan
-All descriptions reflect the best information available to us
CUSTOMER VERIFICATION
-Please inquire before purchasing if you have questions
-Mine-specific origin is only confirmed when verified by suppliers
ROUTE PACKAGE PROTECTION
We strongly recommend adding Route Package Protection at checkout.
-Protects against loss, theft, or damage in transit
-Provides fast and easy claims processing
-If Route Protection is declined:
-Responsibility transfers to the customer once shipped
-TTR is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages
-No refunds or replacements will be issued once tracking shows shipped or delivered
SHIPPING
-TTR ships up to five days per week & most packages will go out the next day.
-Processing and shipping may take up to 14 days at the latest if we are traveling
-Travel delays will be announced via the website banner
-We are a small business, not Amazon — but we do our best to ship quicker

-We are not responsible for carrier delays
-We are not responsible for incorrect addresses entered by the customer
-Address changes must be confirmed before payment is completed via Shopify Inbox
MISSING PACKAGES & CLAIMS
If marked delivered but missing: Contact us immediately & Contact your local post office (please remember they are the ones who carried and delivered your package, not TTR)
Claims cannot begin until 30 days after shipment
Refunds or replacements: Issued only after claim approval from carrier (UPS, USPS, etc) & Require Route Protection
Open claims must be resolved before action can be taken
JEWELRY CARE TIPS
Turquoise ranks 5–6 on the Mohs hardness scale
Porous and sensitive to: Heat, Chemicals, Moisture
Avoid exposure to: Water, Perfume, Lotion, Sunscreen, Oils, Soap, Coffee or tea
Cleaning & Storage
Clean with a soft cotton cloth only
Use polishing cloths on metal only — avoid stones
Store wrapped in tissue or cotton cloth
Airtight storage helps prevent tarnishing
CLOTHING CARE TIPS
Always check care labels
Wash separately from everyday clothing
Use gentle cycles or hand wash when needed
Use mild detergent only
Air dry; avoid dryers
Store folded or on padded hangers
Keep away from direct sunlight
REPAIRS & RING RE-SIZING
-TTR does not offer warranties or in-house repairs for jewelry not purchased through TTR. If we are able to repair it in house, we will. If not we can refer you to trusted third-party repair professionals.
-Repairs may take several weeks as do ring re-sizings
-TTR is not responsible for items lost during repair or shipping
